The watch's alternately polished and satin-finished bracelet is closed with a folding clasp.
Sapphire crystal on top and bottom
Behind the viewing glass back made of sapphire crystal you can admire Panerai's in-house caliber P.9010 at work. With this movement of the Panerai Luminor Marina 44 it is possible to adjust the hour hand without having to influence the minute hand. This also has another positive effect, because the date, which is at the 3 o'clock position, can be adjusted just as quickly. Furthermore, the in-house caliber manages to build up a power reserve of 72 hours.

Directly opposite the date window is the small seconds display. The small hand that moves here is blue. The hour and minute hands of the Panerai Luminor Marina 44 have been coated with a white luminous material. Also the indices and the large Arabic numerals. This is intended to ensure readability at all times. With the PAM01058 you get the watch with a blue dial that has a sunburst finish. And under the reference PAM00978 you can get the Panerai Luminor Marina 44 with a silver dial. This has been given a special finish of vertical stripes.
