Classic with 3-hands
The simple dial lies beneath the sapphire crystal of the IWC Portofino Automatic. This dial was kept in blue for both. The slim hands of this classic three-hand watch have been gold-plated. The indices on the IW356523 are also only gold-plated, while the indices on the IW356522 are made of solid gold. In addition to the hour and minute display, you can read the current date at the 3 o'clock position using a small viewing window.
Flair of the Italian Riviera
With the IW356522 you get the IWC Portofino Automatic with a case made of 18 carat red gold. The bezel, crown and case back were also made of 18 carat red gold. The bottom of the clock is also engraved and shows the port of Portofino. The IW356523, however, has a stainless steel case. Here too, the bezel, crown and back of the watch are made of stainless steel. The two new IWC Portofino Automatic models have one thing in common: the hand-dyed black alligator leather strap. Both versions are closed with a pin buckle.
