The new PAM02973 replaces the previous model PAM00973 and has a case diameter of 42 mm that fits any man's wrist. The housing is made of AISI 316L stainless steel. The watch is closed by a solid stainless steel case back.
The Submersible is powered by the mechanical manufacture automatic movement, caliber P.900. The movement has a barrel and consists of 171 components. The caliber guarantees an impressive and reliable power reserve of three days.
The Panerai is equipped with a black dial with white hands and hour markers in white. The hour markers are fluorescent and the hands are coated with luminous material. Optimal reading results are therefore ensured in all lighting conditions. As a detail, the lettering and the second hand are in a beautiful, striking blue and represent an exciting visual accent.
The watch's functions include the display of hours, minutes, seconds and a date display. The small seconds can be found at nine o'clock and the date display at three o'clock.
A black, sporty rubber strap with a pin buckle is mounted on the watch in a matching color. The timepiece has a counterclockwise rotating diving bezel made of satin-finished stainless steel with scaling. The Submersible's bezel was inspired by the legendary "L'Egiziano" that Panerai developed for the Egyptian Navy in 1956. The watch is robust with a water resistance of 30 bar and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The diving watch is characterized by its perfect readability and unmistakable look. The unique Panerai signature is always preserved through the cushion-shaped case and the striking crown protection bridge with lever. This protects against shocks and prevents the time from being accidentally changed.
