Rolex presents the new GMT-Master II models in a new color and material combination. By using elegant, high-quality gold and/or robust, hard-wearing stainless steel, the new GMT-Master II models also easily become companions in the office and on festive occasions. Rolex calls this interaction of materials Rolesor and is a trademark of the house.
Technical data
The mechanical movement with self-winding mechanism with caliber 3285, a Rolex manufacture movement, has a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. Thanks to the COSC (chronometer of superlatives) and Rolex certification, the GMT-Master II are very accurate with a deviation of +/-2 seconds per day. As usual with Rolex, these models also have a screw-down crown and guarantee a water resistance of up to 10 bar.
Features and appearance
Both models have a 40 mm case, which is made of stainless steel for the reference 126713GRNR and solid gold for the reference 126718GRNR. The bezels can be rotated on both sides with a two-color Cerachrom monoblock number disc with a 24-hour graduation. This is made of hard, scratch-resistant ceramic, for the first time with black and gray. Graduations and numbers were coated with yellow gold using a special PVD process. All hour hands and indices are made of 18k yellow gold and have long-lasting luminous material. These come into their own on the black lacquered dial.
The new GMT Master II models come with a Jubilee bracelet, which of course also has the Oysterlook safety folding clasp and the Easylink extension. The reference 126718GRNR also has ceramic inserts in the band elements. The reference 126713GRNR was made in the Rolesor combination.
