“Little Prince” in a big way!
In 2014, the next special model of the pilot's watch Chronograph Edition “Le Petit Prince” Ref. IW500906 from IWC will be released in honor of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's story “The Little Prince”, the writer's most successful work. Sotheby's and IWC jointly support the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry pour la Jeunesse Foundation. This homage to the writer is reflected above all in the engraving “Unique Prince” on the back, as well as a gold medallion with the image of the Little Prince.

As with the two previous models with a three-hand edition and perpetual calendar, this edition of the chronograph is again characterized by a deep blue dial. The classic look of a pilot's watch from IWC is underlined by the 43mm case and includes a chronograph movement with automatic winding and a 44-hour power reserve. Date and week displays are of course also available. The steel watch is available with a brown calfskin strap or a stainless steel strap with a folding clasp.
The new “Le petit prince” is once again a very successful combination of classic aircraft design and high quality, paired with a homage to the famous writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
