Panerai releases a new wristwatch in the Luminor series. The Luminor Marina Carbotech with the reference PAM01661. The name says it all, the carbon is part of the entire case and the bezel. This makes the watch particularly robust and also increases its corrosion resistance enormously. There is also a reduction in weight compared to other watches made of stainless steel or any type of gold. This timepiece once again expresses Panerai's high quality standards, based on its experience since 1860

An absolute masterpiece inside

Equipped with the caliber P.9010, a completely in-house production by Panerai, and 2 barrels, this luxury watch is very impressive. Thanks to the two spring barrels mentioned, the watch also has a power reserve of around 3 days. The watch's balance wheel is made of Glucydur. Glucydur, also known as Berrydur, is a material for copper coating developed in Switzerland in the 1930s, which is recognizable by its golden color. It has better hardness than nickel or brass. All in all, there are 200 components in the new Panerai Luminor Marina reference PAM01661, which once again makes a clear statement in terms of quality.

Elegant design and optics on top

As already mentioned, the housing made entirely of carbon absolutely stands out. This matt gray look complements the wearer's outfit immensely. On the black dial, the fluorescent Arabic numerals are always easy to read, whether day or night. The watch also has a date display at 3 o'clock and a small seconds at 9 o'clock. The bracelet of the new Panerai Luminor Carbotech reference PAM01661 is standardized and available as a rubber or liver strap.
