Basalt fibers, commonly used in the automotive industry or as heat protection, now form the basis of the material in this new timepiece from the Italian watch manufacturer. A special property that results from this is reflected in the weight. The watch weighs half the weight of a stainless steel watch and still offers equivalent corrosion resistance.
