The Italian luxury watch brand Panerai is known far beyond its own borders for its exclusive and innovative wristwatches. A new example of this is the Luminor Marina Goldtech in 44 mm with reference PAM01112. The gold alloy used and the alternation of satin and polished surfaces give it its distinctive look. In addition, the deep blue dial with the leather strap in the same blue stands out.
Aesthetics and elegance made in Italy
The already mentioned deep blue dial with sunburst finish and Arabic numerals has, in addition to the centrally arranged hour and minute hands, also a small seconds at the 9 o'clock position and a date display on the opposite side at 3 o'clock. The case is made of the eponymous red gold alloy, called “Goldtech”. The Panerai Luminor Goldtech reference PAM01112 also has a sapphire crystal caseback on the underside of the case, so that the built-in P.9010 caliber can be seen. The new watch is available as standard with a blue alligator strap and pin buckle.
The caliber
Inside the timepiece, completely enclosed in the case, beats the P.9010 caliber, which is manufactured entirely by Panerai. Thanks to the two built-in spring barrels, the Luminor Marina Goldtech reference PAM01112 has a power reserve of 72 hours. In keeping with the spirit of the diving watches of the first Luminor generation for the combat swimmers of the time, it is water-resistant up to 5 bar thanks to the built-in seals. To round things off, one can say that with a total of 200 components in the movement alone, the new Panerai is a masterpiece of watchmaking art and gives every owner a special feeling when wearing it. It underlines the elegance and esprit of the Panerai brand and passes this on to the wearer.
