Rolex released several new dials for already known model series this year. This also includes some extensions to the Daytona model series. In addition to the references 116519 and 116515, the 116518 also gets a new look. The dial made of real meteroite gives the Daytona a very special look in combination with the black rubber strap. Already known from the GMT Master, the Daytona has now been enriched with this unique dial and gives the wearer a very special prestige that perhaps only the mother-of-pearl dial can otherwise offer.

The new dial

The meteroite of the dial consists of the core of an exploded asteroid, which flew through space until it accidentally entered the earth's orbit and was then pulled towards the earth by the earth's gravity. The usual index indices filled with Rolex's long-lasting blue luminous material offer the best readability in the dark or in difficult lighting conditions. The totalizers of the Rolex Daytona reference 116518LN are in matching black. Otherwise, like the other gold variants, the watch is equipped with the well-known tachymeter scale for reading the speed and the case made of 18 carat yellow gold.

What else awaits you

The caliber of the Rolex Daytona is the 4130, which, as usual with the Geneva luxury watch manufacturer, was completely developed and assembled in-house. It has an accuracy of +2/-2 seconds per day and is also awarded the COSC certificate. Can be recognized by the green chronometer seal. Thanks to the built-in seals, the watch is tight up to a water pressure of up to 10 bar.
