On the occasion of its 60th birthday, Rolex revised the entire collection of what is probably the most sought-after wristwatch. Rolex presents a Daytona with changes and new developments while maintaining the distinctive appearance of the Daytona.
The dial particularly stands out with a renewed display and newly revised indices and totalizer rings. The indices are longer and finer. The contrast between the case back, totalizers and their rings is highlighted by fine color and finish combinations. The result is a more contemporary and harmonious look.

The newly designed housing with its fine flowing light lines on the sides of the middle section gives the Daytona a slimmer look. On models with a ceramic bezel, a metal ring made of the same material as the bezel housing frames the bezel.

An absolute highlight and a debut for the Rolex Daytona is the transparent caseback of the 950 Platin Daytona, reference 126506. The fine Rolex chronograph movement and its oscillating weight, made of 18 carat yellow gold, are visible. The ice blue dial remains unmistakable on the platinum version.
The Daytona is powered by the 4131 caliber, fully developed and manufactured by Rolex. It is a further development of the 4130 caliber. The caliber was presented in 2023 and includes important features: Chronoenergy escapement to minimize energy losses, Paraflex anti-shock system to protect the heart of the movement, and an optimized ball bearing to improve the automatic winding. Other new components include an openwork oscillating weight and Rolex Côtes de Genève decoration on the bridges.

Another reason to celebrate the new Daytona is the 100th anniversary of the 24 Heures du Mans. The model variant in 18 carat white gold, reference 126529LN, is equipped with a Cerachrom bezel made of black ceramic. The number “100” on the tachymeter scale, colored in red ceramic, pays homage to the 100th anniversary of the race. The clear white totalizers stand out from the new, bright black dial. The timepiece has a transparent case back and an Oyster bracelet. The elegant white gold watch is powered by the caliber 4132. The caliber enables time periods of a maximum of 24 hours to be measured using the chronograph function, instead of the 12 hours that is otherwise usual for this model. With the measurement of 24 hours, Rolex is once again focusing on the race. Rolex has once again demonstrated its pursuit of perfection and brought a modernized classic onto the market.
