Rolex has now officially released the new Submariner Date 41 mm reference 126610LN. It therefore has a case that is only slightly larger than the previous 40 mm model, whose production has now been discontinued. If you own the predecessor reference 116610LN, you are welcome to sell it to us safely and quickly. The 3235 caliber is used in the Submariner Date models and allows the date to be displayed alongside the time. It also has a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and is waterproof up to a pressure of 30 bar.

Design like a Rolex

It is equipped with the usual Submariner unidirectional rotating bezel in black and 60 minute graduations. This Cerachrom number disc is made of particularly scratch-resistant ceramic. In addition, the numbers and the graduation are plated with platinum. If you look at the black lacquered dial, you can also see the usual Rolex indices and hands with Chromalight in an 18-carat white gold setting. The sapphire crystal is particularly scratch-resistant. In addition, a cyclops magnifying glass is installed to make the date easier to read.

A real caliber among diving watches

The built-in caliber 3235 can be wound in both directions. It comes entirely from Rolex's own factory. Like the other Rolex models, the caliber has the automatic self-winding mechanism. The built-in oscillator of the Rolex Submariner Date 41 mm contains a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring. This is held by the Paraflex anti-shock system. The escapement with Chronergy has optimized efficiency. What else is worth adding: The 3235 caliber and the associated date display also provide an automatic date change with a secured quick correction.
