Breitling Montbrillant 01 watches in the shop

The Breitling company has now grouped its traditional, top-class chronographs under the name Montbrillant. The BreitlingNavitimerMontbrillant 01.

The Breitling Montbrillant with a 40 mm case was presented to the interested public in 2011. For the first time, Breitling has used the Breitling 01 caliber for the Montbrillant. A chronograph movement with a 70-hour power reserve and chronometer certification.
A typical feature of the Breitling Montbrillant is the case back, which is decorated with a medallion-shaped reproduction of the factory built by Léon Breitling in 1892.

The dial is silver-colored and available with index or Arabic numerals. For the straps, you can choose between the stainless steel strap, the Air Racer stainless steel strap or various leathers in various colors. An 18 kt red gold version of the Montbrillant 01 is also available. Breitling will certainly add more dials to the watch over time. There will certainly be more versions of the Breitling watch, so we look forward to the future.

    The Swiss watch manufacturer Breitling bows to its own history with the Breitling Montbrillant 01. In its early days, the traditional company was based on Rue Montbrillant for many years. This was the birthplace of many groundbreaking innovations. Reason enough to name a top-class luxury watch after it and thus appropriately honor the decades of innovation.

  • The face of the traditional Breitling Montbrillant 01 watch is reminiscent of watch designs from the 1940s and 1950s. What was typical for Breitling at that time were the slim hands and the characteristic red hundredths of a second in the middle of the dial. The watches also show the name Breitling in curved letters on the dial. This is reminiscent of the company logo that was common in the first half of the last century. Additionally, the manufacturing building in La Chaux-de-Fonds is engraved on the bottom of the case.

Fans of pilot watches from Breitling's workshops will recognize the fluted bezel. It can be rotated in two directions even under difficult external conditions. The typical slide rule on the bezel is also there. It can be used to calculate data important for aviation. The dial of the watch in white and in limited series also in blue shows the characteristic appearance of a technical instrument.

    The Breitling Montbrillant 01 also offers different variants when it comes to the materials for its case and crowns. In addition to steel cases, the medium-sized watch with a diameter of 40 millimeters is offered with red gold cases.
