Popular pilot's watch with innovative technology
The Breitling Navitimer GMT was launched in 2014. What is remarkable is its impressive case with a diameter of an impressive 48 millimeters. The pilot's watch is available with dials in black and silver and, in a limited edition, also in blue. The design of the dial is very reminiscent of modern aviation instruments. That's why the Breitling Navitimer GMT is particularly popular with professional and hobby pilots.
Its many extras also make it an extremely popular timepiece, especially among aviation enthusiasts. The bezel has a fluted edge. This increases the grip of the bezel and allows it to be easily rotated in two directions, even when wearing gloves. The slide rule on the bezel is also unmistakable on the Breitling Navitimer GMT. With this technical idea, which has made the watch a trademark, important variables can be calculated.
Transparency on the back
The watch has a viewing window made of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal on the bottom of the case. The clockwork can be clearly seen through this cutout. This is the Breitling 04 manufacture caliber, which is completely developed and assembled in the in-house workshops of the traditional Swiss company. The mechanical movement with its automatic winding ensures a power reserve of at least 70 hours.
The caliber also allows you to safely set the second time zone for the chosen travel location. To do this, the time for the place of origin does not have to be changed. Travelers therefore always have the opportunity to keep an eye on both times. A 24-hour scale also allows the distinction between day and night. The watch is classically worn on a solid steel bracelet. Straps made of leather, crocodile leather or rubber are also available as options.
